Senior at Texas Christian University - Graduating May 2017
Bachelor of Science in Interior Design
Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management
I am currently a fourth year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in interior design and a Bachelor of Business Administration in entrepreneurial management at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. During my undergraduate years, I filled a number of design roles within education and healthcare practices where I gained technical and strategic expertise in these key markets. I have enjoyed working both in education and healthcare design, where I use strategic design while also understanding the technical needs of the project.
I have enjoyed being the first student to attempt both the Neeley School of Business and the TCU interior design program. Through my finance classes, I learned project management, accounting, and budgeting skills. My management classes have taught me how to be an effective team member and leader.
Through taking seven/eight classes per semester while working part-time, I have learned that I strive in high-pace environments where I need to push myself. I hope to use my business education to further gain an understanding of the finance process that goes into creating cost-effective projects that aligns with client expectations.
I enjoy podcasts (NPR, Reply All, and Stuff You Should Know), Wes Anderson films, and Reddit.
